Update: lowest recorded values in product SKU tables

The SKU table for each product now includes three additional historical values for individual SKUs: Lowest Recorded SKU Price, Lowest Recorded Shipping Cost, and Lowest Recorded Price + Shipping.

These columns provide a quick historical reference for each SKU. You can immediately see the lowest item price, the lowest shipping cost, and the lowest combined price plus shipping that HandheldGameConsole.com has recorded for that SKU.

Each SKU row now shows its lowest recorded item price, shipping cost, and combined price plus shipping.

Lowest Recorded SKU Price is the lowest item price recorded for that SKU. Lowest Recorded Shipping Cost is its lowest recorded shipping cost. Lowest Recorded Price + Shipping is the lowest recorded combined cost of the item and shipping.

These values make it much faster to evaluate a current SKU because you no longer need to open its price-history chart and scan potentially hundreds of data points to find the lowest recorded SKU price, shipping cost, or price plus shipping. If an offer looks interesting, you can immediately see whether its current price or total cost is close to a previously recorded low or whether substantially lower values have been recorded in the past.

The separate shipping and price-plus-shipping values are useful because a low item price does not necessarily mean a low total cost. Shipping can significantly affect what you actually pay, so the historical minimum for price plus shipping can provide a more useful reference when evaluating an offer.

These SKU-level values are also useful when you arrive at a product after noticing a low LR value in the main search results. The main search table summarizes lowest recorded values across a group of SKUs, while the product SKU table shows the historical minimum for each SKU separately. This makes it easier to see which individual variant may be behind an unusually low value.

As with other historical SKU data, a recorded minimum should not automatically be treated as proof that the exact item shown today was previously sold at that price. Sellers can change their listings over time, and the same SKU ID may previously have represented a different console model, bundle, accessory, protective case, bag, or another product. An older minimum may therefore need additional context before it can be directly compared with the current offer.

If the SKUs currently shown for a product do not explain an unusually low historical value, you can also view other live and discontinued SKU versions. This gives you a broader view of the SKU history, including live variants excluded by the current search filters, as well as discontinued SKU versions.

Together, the main LR columns and these SKU-level historical values make it faster to move from spotting an interesting result to checking the individual variants behind it and deciding whether the current offer deserves a closer look.
